9052 274D License Error Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) es Access for Windows PC5250 or Data Transfer connections fails with CWB0999 RC 9052 274D License Error. Resolving the problem A single cwb0999 unexpected error unexpected return code 9052 274d PC running an Access for Windows client shows a CWB0999 RC 9052 274D license
error when trying to open a PC5250 emulation session or Data Transfer. Tracing of several situations where this error was cwb0999 client access occurring showed us that the Access for Windows Licensing Client program is not able to connect to the Access for Windows Licensing Server Daemon program using the using the operating system local loopback interprocess cwb0999 unexpected error return code 126 communications facility on the PC. Access for Windows sets up the Licensing Daemon program to listen on an available communications port, and then informs the Licensing Client program what that port is. A common cause for this error is that Windows was shut down while these tasks were still running or were in the process of shutting down, and the location of this communications port is not fully cleaned
up. This causes the communications on the next License attempt to fail. APAR SE28646 was created to support an error recovery enhancement to this process so that Access for Windows can handle this type of occurrence and clean up the communications constructs at the following Licensing startup. To reduce the occurrence of this error a user can configure Access for Windows to more quickly shut down the Licensing process after the last PC5250 or Data Transfer session is closed to allow it time to complete before Windows shutdown processing begins. This is done by opening Access for Windows Properties, navigating to the Other Tab, and changing the Release license after option from the default of 10 minutes to 0 or 1 minute. This change will have the most noticeable impact on environments where the Access for Windows License Family (57nnXW1 where "nn" corresponds to the release for the OS) is not set to *NOMAX licensing. For environments where the Access License Family (57nnXW1) is set to unlimited licensing, upgrading to the current Access for Windows Service Packs reduces how often this licensing connection takes place. This then reduces the exposure to this situation occurring. Another possible cause of this failure is that anoth

Posted by PhilEddies | Feb 25, 2013 | Citrix XenApp, Solutions | 0 | Problem - IBM iSeries Client Access License Error on Citrix XenApp - CWB0999 Unexpected error: unexpected return code 9052 274d I recently had the http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1019029 need to deploy IBM Client Access 6.1 on a Citrix XenApp 6.5 farm, everything was fine for the first month or so and then users started getting the error "PC5250 License Error CWB0999 Unexpected error: unexpected return code 9052 274d" Cause: After a lot of digging I narrowed down the problem to the reg key HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\IBM\Client Access\Common\Global System Information\ There needs to be a key for each iSeries server that the users will connect to (In my http://www.geekshangout.com/ibm-iseries-client-access-license-error-on-citrix-xenapp/ case PROD, TEST and DEV) and under each server key there is a key titled "License Management". For some reason when in a Citrix season (I have not tried RDP) the server keys do not get created and and the REG_BINAARY value "Date system last checked for nomax" under "License Management" does not get updated. If the "Date system last checked for nomax" REG_BINAARY value is not updated every 30 days or so the registry information for that iSeries connection is removed and the next Citrix user to start a Client Access connection to that server is given the above license error. It does not seem to be permissions related in my cause even creating a new iSeries connection within a Citrix session as an administrator does not update "Date system last checked for nomax" you have to be on the Server console. To me it seems like a bug in Client Access 6.1 running on a remote desktop connection. Solution: While troubleshooting the issue with Sys Internals Process Monitor I notices Client Access checks in the registry for "Number of days to wait for next nomax check" This does not exist in the registry by default so I created "HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\IBM\Client Access\CurrentVersion\Common\License Management\Number of days to wait for next nomax check" on each Citrix server and set to it to 9999 which is about 2

Intel Core 2 Duo. In a domain environment No GPO's that can cause an issue. It happens intermittently. I know it has to do something with the licensing and I believe there is something that holds it for some time and we just have to find what it is. I say that because I just found out the following: In the client PC that the emulator is installed I signed as the user and I get the error, however; if I signed as me or administrator in the same client PC the issue does not happen. Something with the user trying to login is where the problem is and there has to be a way to reset or do something to make it work. Restarting the computer a million times is not solving it. So I though it may be a service in the background or firewall or something blocking whatever undocumented port IBM is using but nope! no firewall, antivirus is not blocking anything, even with antivirus off same issue, no other programs running. I called IBM and they say it is Microsoft but their article (per post above) clearly shows they are aware of the issue. Microsoft says it is IBM. I

There are many reasons why Cwb0999 Unexpected Error happen, including having malware, spyware, or programs not installing properly. Will Reimage fix my Cwb0999 Unexpected Error problem? There's no way to tell without running the program. The state of people's computers varies wildly, depending on the different specs and software they're running, so even if reimage could fix Cwb0999 Unexpected Error on one machine doesn't necessarily mean it will fix it on all machines. Thankfully it only takes minutes to run a scan and see what issues Reimage can detect and fix.
A Windows error is an error that happens when an unexpected condition occurs or when a desired operation has failed. When you have an error in Windows, it may be critical and cause your programs to freeze and crash or it may be seemingly harmless yet annoying.
A stop error screen or bug check screen, commonly called a blue screen of death (also known as a BSoD, bluescreen), is caused by a fatal system error and is the error screen displayed by the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems upon encountering a critical error, of a non-recoverable nature, that causes the system to "crash".
One of the biggest causes of DLL's becoming corrupt/damaged is the practice of constantly installing and uninstalling programs. This often means that DLL's will get overwritten by newer versions when a new program is installed, for example. This causes problems for those applications and programs that still need the old version to operate. Thus, the program begins to malfunction and crash.
Computer hanging or freezing occurs when either a program or the whole system ceases to respond to inputs. In the most commonly encountered scenario, a program freezes and all windows belonging to the frozen program become static. Almost always, the only way to recover from a system freeze is to reboot the machine, usually by power cycling with an on/off or reset button.
Once your computer has been infected with a virus, it's no longer the same. After removing it with your anti-virus software, you're often left with lingering side-effects. Technically, your computer might no longer be infected, but that doesn't mean it's error-free. Even simply removing a virus can actually harm your system.
Reimage repairs and replaces all critical Windows system files needed to run and restart correctly, without harming your user data. Reimage also restores compromised system settings and registry values to their default Microsoft settings. You may always return your system to its pre-repair condition.
Reimage patented technology, is the only PC Repair program of its kind that actually reverses the damage done to your operating system. The online database is comprised of over 25,000,000 updated essential components that will replace any damaged or missing file on a Windows operating system with a healthy version of the file so that your PC's performance, stability & security will be restored and even improve. The repair will deactivate then quarantine all Malware found then remove virus damage. All System Files, DLLs, and Registry Keys that have been corrupted or damaged will be replaced with new healthy files from our continuously updated online database.
